This feature documentary about drug usage needed a score that was at once both uplifting and melancholy. This song really embodies that feeling at the moment that the main character has to make a pivotal decision about his life.

This score was written to be up-tempo and engaging with heavy instrumentation and a frenzied arrangement that would keep the viewer enthralled and excited about what he or she was watching.

This score was featured in the television documentary “Murder in Black and White,” which aired on TVOne. The music was featured during a scene in which Rev. Joseph Lowery spoke of people coming together and getting passed racial differences. We used strings and a light rhodes piano along with a reserved and in-its-place drum beat to convey the quasi-happiness of the reverend’s words.

For the Bodybuilding.com spot “Xero Limits,” the director wanted something heavy and aggressive sounding. The entirely MIDI synthesized score borrowed from the genre of industrial electronica to get the listener to feel the intensity of Rodney’s performance while using the client’s supplement.
